Mrs Artie Cardwell hosted a birthday party Monday afternoon honoring Terry Cardwell on his sixth birthday. Attendees included Tammy Cady Bradley Odell Travis Thomas and other local families who shared gifts and lunch after the celebration.
Scandia KEHU met at Mrs. John Odell’s home October 10 with 14 members and one guest, Mrs. Robert Isaacson. The Christmas Fantasy was announced for October 29. officers for the coming year were elected. Next meeting set for November 14 hosted by Mrs. Andy Thompson.
On October 2 members toured York Nebraska through guided visits to the York Civic Center a combined museum and recreation center. They viewed the Mobil Home plant showing home construction from start to finish and toured the Nebraska Women’s Reformatory guided by the superintendent.
