The Republic County Historical Society met at the Belleville courthouse on March 4. A photograthic copy of the 1858 military road route between Fort Riley Kansas and Fort Kearney Nebraska is on display at the Belleville City Library. The next meeting is April 1 at the courthouse. The WSCS district meeting at First Methodist church in Belleville is Tuesday April 2 with luncheon reservations due by March 29.
