Republic County Schoolmasters Meet at Belleville
Republic County Schoolmasters gathered at the Elliott Hotel in Belleville on Monday March 13 for a regular meeting. They approved pitches for a county track meet in Courtland on April 28 and a county tennis tournament in Norway with date to be set. A new all county scholarship award was adopted and medals for honor roll students were announced. Velma Long of the Kansas State Board of Health spoke and showed TB prevention films.
