John E. Brandt died at his Detroit home on December 17 1946. Funeral services were held December 21 with burial in Trenton Michigan. He is survived by his sister Anna B Dempsey of Oakland California. He was the son of Adolph and Sophia Brandt, both buried in Scandia. The Journal extends sympathy to the sister.
