County commissioners in Republic County Kansas report four submitted WPA projects dated Aug 23 Sept 28 and two on Oct 13 with no approval yet. They warn cash direct relief is driving county unemployed to demand work or subsistence funds and request guidance on when projects will be approved. New 1936 Corn-Hog Contract Details Revealed
The 1936 37 corn hog contract requires farmers to plant 25 to 70 90 percent of their bases and market 50 to 100 percent of hog bases.
