Republican Convention Meets in Belleville August 2 1902
The Republican County Central Committee calls a convention in Belleville at the Court House on Saturday August 2 1902 at 10 in the morning to nominate candidates for Probate Judge Clerk of the District Court County Superintendent of Public Instruction County Attorney Sheriff Coroner County Clerk County Treasurer Register of Deeds County Surveyor or Representative of the 60th District and County Commissioner of the 1st District. Representation is by one delegate per twenty votes or fraction of ten cast for Secretary of State in 1900 with per township quotas listed. primaries urged for July 30 1902 and local caucuses to elect Central Committee members.
