Gasoline Line Being Laid Near Courtland
A gas refining company from Enid Oklahoma is laying a pipe from Enid to Superior Nebraska. The line runs north and south between Scandia and Courtland. Death of Albert Sandell in Scandia Area
Albert Sandell died at his home southeast of Scandia last Thursday morning at age forty six after a brief illness from pneumonia. Born in Sweden he came to the community in 1905 and served in the U S army in the war. He leaves three brothers and five sisters. Funeral services were held Saturday at the home and Methodist Church with Rev. B W Selin officiating. the American Legion Post of Belleville participated and interment was at Poplar Grove.
