New Mexico League to Disband After Weekend Games

Manager Preston and Mr Duncan will select a final New Mexico League team by October 1 and travel to the coast. The roster includes Newman, Chonquette, Reardon, Fudger, Ellsworth, Tebenn, Hill, Fowler, ONeil, Clarke, and another catcher in right field. Two strangers hunt for treasure at Frankton mill

In Frankton Kentucky two well dressed men from St Louis rented a buggy, spent a day digging around a local steam mill owned by Whitesides, then left on the night train. A local, Hendricks, later unearthed a keg containing 2700 dollars. The incident stirred local speculation of hidden treasure while merchants and advertisers fill a noisy page with shop notes and notices.

Steam Yachting Gains Note in International Cup Race

The Stranger won the Commodore's Cup with a 5h 3m 50s run over a sixteen-knot course, while the Atlanta's Cup rewards the fastest sea going yacht over 100 feet.
