Freed POWs Speak at Copenhagen News Conference

Three fatigued American prisoners of war returning from Hanoi and Moscow spoke of captivity and hopes to end the Vietnam War. At Copenhagen airport they described treatment, urged Americans to press for release, and said they would fly to New York on SAS after declining a military evacuation.

Dog Drives Family Pickup in Utah Accident

In Duchesne Utah a labrador retriever named Mike hopped into the family pickup and hit the gas while the engine ran. The truck rolled about 100 feet jumping ditches before stopping. Owner Damry Gee says the dog and vehicle are in the dog house after Sheriff Marett termed it the doggonest accident investigated.
