The official airport mechanic post held by Elmer Dexter will be terminated, Dexter promised a private hanger for his shop, and the airport house will be reassigned to the caretaker.

Grant Approved for Mountain View Reservoir Recreation Facility
A $78 000 grant from the Economic Development Association was approved for the Pitmite tribes of the Dark Valley Indian Reservation in Idaho and Nevada. The funds will support building a recreational facility at Mountain View Reservoir in Idaho. Sen. Frank Church says the project should start within 90 days.

Power Co Gets Right Of Way Grants Across Public Land
The Interior Department issued rights of way across public land to Idaho Power Company and Pacific Power and Light Company. Idaho Power gains a 230 kilovolt transmission line from Naoughton Junction near Kemmerer Wyoming to the Goshen substation between Blackfoot and Idaho Falls. Pacific Power and Light receives a line from the Jim Bridger Generating Station to connect with an existing 230 kilovolt line about six miles south of the plant.
