The title first appeared in 1937 and by mid 1970s had a weekly circulation around 6.6 million. Other magazines have folded recently, with some later revived in different formats.

New Deputy Prosecutor Sworn In for Bonner County
Gary Finney was sworn in Wednesday as Deputy Prosecutor for Bonner County to assist Prosecutor Everett Hofmeister. He fills the post vacated by Don Swanstrom who resigned to become Court Administrator for the First Judicial District. Finney, a University of Idaho Law graduate, has practiced with Sandpoint attorney Stephen Bistline. He is the son of Alvan and Opal Finney of Sandpoint.
