Boise chemist finds blood not human in Hofmeister case
Forensic chemist Ann Bradley testified that a blood spot on a fireplace in the Hofmeister home near Sandpoint was not human blood. The defendant, former Bonner County prosecutor Robert Hofmeister, faces a first degree murder trial over the July 16, 1974 death of his wife, June Hofmeister.
