Linda Turner of Bottle Bay, first woman aircraft mechanic in northern Idaho, is a Certificated Avionics Technician and former Air Traffic Controller. A Dallas native, she learned aircraft work through Army service and Alabama Aviation College. She and husband Earl plan an aircraft repair facility at Sandpoint airport.
