Wayne Goin, newly installed Sandpoint Chamber president, led a luncheon featuring Robert S. Nobis of Outdoors Unlimited discussing land withdrawals and multiple use. Nobis argued for access to 1/3 privately owned Idaho land and warned against preservationists restraining public lands. He cited White Clouds and wilderness designations and noted recreation, mining, timber, and roads as benefits of multiple use.
