Sagle Man Dies Of Rifle Wound
A Sagle man Clarence Cullison, 39, died from a .22 caliber gunshot to the chest at the Corner Trailer Park on U S 95 near the Sagle turn-off. Bonner County Sheriff Mike Guthrie said the shooting was reported as an accident and is under investigation. Cullison owned C&C Transmission Specialists three miles south of Sandpoint. autopsy to be performed in Coeur d Alene.

Three men charged in Bonner County assault with intent to murder
Michael Venovich, 25, of Priest River, was released on bond after an arrest Monday night in a case with two suspects still jailed. Timothy Pinkney, 21, and Harry White, 21, both of Priest River, remain in custody on $25,000 bonds. Deputy Douglas Bradbury had his bond reduced from $25,000 to $5,000 and was released after posting a $5,000 property bond.
