Bond Set For Three Men Charged In Shooting Case
Bond of 25000 each is set for Michael Venovich 25 Timothy Pinkney 21 and Harry White 21 all of Priest River after they were charged with aiding abetting and participating in the attempted murder of Bonner County deputy Douglas Bradbury following a Sept 20 shooting four miles east of Priest River on the Dufort Road. White faced earlier burglary charges and rifles were recovered. A preliminary hearing is planned within ten days.

Priest River Man Shot At Home No Suspect Sought
Edgar Bell 60 of Priest River was shot in the chest Tuesday night at his home after hearing a dog bark. He was taken to Bonner County General Hospital in stable condition. Sheriff Guthrie said there are no suspects and the case is under investigation.

Trucks Collide Near Careywood During Slick Morning
A 1974 Dodge driven by William E. Simm 30 of Sandpoint and a 1965 Chevrolet driven by Sherry L. Barnhart 24 of Careywood collided Friday on Sunset Road near Careywood causing 300 dollars in damages to each vehicle. Simm traveled north uphill slightly left of center and Barnhart came down the hill left of center. both struck the left front of the other on a narrow slick road after rain.
