He said the group’s main product is service and outlined local and worldwide goals as the club shifts focus toward helping the deaf and hard of hearing. Youth Burned In Auto Crash Near Garfield Bay
A 14 year old Bonner County youth, Greg Pratt, was seriously burned when his car slid off Garfield Bay Road, struck a tree, and burst into flames. Pratt, of Sandpoint, was taken to Bonner General Hospital in the ICU. The state police report cites excessive speed into a curve as the cause and notes the vehicle burned after spinning and hitting the tree.

Power outage hits Dufort Road area for two hours
One phase of a three phase line failed yesterday affecting about one third of residents on Dufort Road and Dufort Road East toward Garfield Bay. Northern Lights reported power restored about two hours after the outage.
