Sand Point man released on 25000 bond after murder charge
Albert J. Williams, 60, of Sand Point, charged with second degree murder in the death of his wife Fay Williams, 51, posted $25,000 bond and was released Friday afternoon. Court-appointed attorney James Hunt filed the release order with the Bonner County Sheriff's Office. The shooting occurred after a party at their home on October 8, with Fay's body found nearby and a loaded .22 revolver on the table. No trial date set. investigation ongoing.

Idaho Traffic Death Toll Climbs With Weekend Losses
United Press International reports three more Idaho deaths from traffic crashes raising the toll to 260. Victims include Marjorie Louise Taylor 54 of Muldoon Landon Gregory D 27 of Challis and Clifford Bowles 29 of Rigby. Taylor died when her pickup left the Silver Creek Bridge south of Bellevue. Landon died when his car careened from U S 98 north of Challis and overturned. Bowles died at Idaho Falls hospital from injuries sustained September 21.
