Three Hunters Missing In Snowbound Bonner County Area
Three Bonner County men hunting near Twin Creeks on High Drive remain missing after radio contact was lost. Sheriff Robert Wilcox says a search is ongoing despite foot-deep snowfall that has hampered efforts as the party’s members split to find the missing Ted Moline while Keith Ellington and Terry Bloom were last seen at 7:30 p.m. yesterday. Tracks were found this morning but the three hunters have not been located.

Williams Charged With Murder In Sandpoint
Albert J. Williams, 60, of Sandpoint, was charged with second degree murder after the fatal shooting of his wife Fay Williams at their trailer home near Gold Creek Road. Bond set at 25000. Williams sought defense counsel. Police recovered a .22 magnum revolver and questioned partygoers from the previous night. No trial date set.

Pickup Theft Suspect Held in Sandpoint Case
Mafrey Pennsylvania man John Redden, 57, is to be arraigned today in Justice Court on grand larceny and auto theft charges for stealing a pickup reported by the Sandpoint Daily Bee. Redden was arrested in Ritzville Washington after a gas station incident and is held in Bonner County Jail awaiting arraignment. Pete Thompson, publisher of the Daily Bee, confirms the owner recovered the vehicle.
