Demolays Set Teeter Totter World Record in Idaho

In Blackfoot Idaho four Demolays David Glasbourg Bob Bowman Eric Shultz and Bob Maughan claimed a world record by running a teeter totter marathon for 100 hours from Wednesday to Sunday in Jensen Grove. The event raised funds for the American Cancer Society drive though total pledges were not available as participants slept after the effort.

Newstands Burglarized Over Weekend

Mrs. C C Whitney owner of several newstands reports dispensing machines burglarized over the weekend. Sandpoint Police are investigating the thefts and Whitney does not know the stolen amount.

Weekend Accidents Mar Sandpoint Area Report

Two accidents marred the Sandpoint weekend according to Bonner County Sheriff's Office reports. On Long Bridge a rollover involving Eileen V. Klatt was hit by Larry J. Timblin. no injuries or citations noted. A second collision on US 95 at Pack River Road involved Maxine E. Davidson and Virginia I. Smith during a passing maneuver.

Hole In One At Elks Golf Course Sees 72 Year Old Triumph

P. G. Hayworth, a greenskeeper at the Elks Golf Course, recorded his first hole in one on a 175 yard shot Sunday. The shot, witnessed by club manager Robert Hodgkins and Jess Olsen, occurred about 1 30 p m as Hayworth played in off duty hours.

Teens allowed to vote on wine sale in Idaho election

In Gooding County youths aged 18 to 20 will vote on a grocery store table wine question despite Idaho law requiring 21 to drink or 20 to buy beer. Attorney General Park notes the anomaly while Rep.
