Police in Coeur d Alene report one man killed and two wounded outside Boots and Saddle Club in the early hours. Dwight Kitchen, 28, died at Kootenai Memorial Hospital. Darrell Jacobson, 29, remained hospitalized awaiting surgery. Darrell’s brother Dennis, 27, from Athol, was treated and released. A suspect was held, weapon believed to be a revolver, investigation ongoing.

Fifth and Alder Market Sold to Les Rogers Partners
The M J Market at Fifth and Alder in Sandpoint was sold Monday by John and Margaret Bradeitch to Les Rogers and Bob Nelsons Cos partners. Rogers said the market will continue with the same personnel and no name change is planned. Joe Bradeitch, brother of the former owner, remains as assistant manager with Wes Felland in charge of the meat department. A grand opening is planned later.
