Douglas E. Smith, 20, of Sandpoint, was arrested at the Eagles Club by Bonner County Sheriff deputies and Sandpoint Police in a joint operation. He faces three counts including sale and importation of a dangerous drug and enticing minors to sell drugs. Bond set at 10000. preliminary hearing not yet scheduled.

Court Hears Yakima Man in Narcotics Case

Mishap Kills Local Hunter In Idaho Weekend
Three men died in northern Idaho during opening weekend of hunting season. Jerry Lane of Sandpoint was struck in the shoulder by a high power rifle slug near McGee Ranger Station. Dr. William Moore of Coeur d Alene was shot near the Idaho Montana border while hunting and officials called it an accident. Joseph Terrish of Lynwood was killed by a shotgun blast fired by his son in the same area.
