Bonner County Cabin Fire Kills Six Children and Mother
A log house fire near Priest River Idaho killed Ruth Ackerman 41 and five of her children Jay 13 Steven 11 Joe 10 Kelly 7 Shelly 7. Father William and brother Randy 15 survived and were taken to Newport Hospital for shock. Fire reported at 12 09 a m and investigators consider an overloaded wood heater possible.
