Sandpoint Youth Detained After Knife Threats
A Sandpoint youth was detained Friday after an argument over a necklace. He allegedly threatened his sister with a kitchen knife and a pocket knife. The 17 year old sister and stepmother, both fearing for their lives, reported the incident. Police Detective Gardner arrested him. a detention hearing is set for Monday to decide whether he remains in juvenile detention or is released due to lack of local guardians.
