Chrysler may shut down all operations for December
United Auto Workers officials say Chrysler submitted a request for a December shutdown that could lay off about 113000 autoworkers while GM Ford also reduced payrolls. Auto sales at Chrysler have dropped 34 percent from last year and GM 43 percent.
