Briefs Sought In Idaho Man slaughter Hearing

Pend Oreille Vets Burgled Overnight Break-In At Local Vet Clinic
Pend Oreille Vets north of Sandpoint suffered a burglary Wednesday night with $6435 stolen from a cash box. Sheriff Robert Wilcox says entry likely via a window screen removed. The case remains under investigation. A 14-year-old Priest River youth was later charged with Grand Theft involving a firearm after showing a gun at school.

State Sued In Small Claim Over Damaged Motor Home
Emmett resident Paul R. Cooper won a $250 small claims judgment against the state of Idaho in Fourth District Magistrate Court.
