Final Bonner Boundary election tally released by clerk

Doris Kenney Bonner County Clerk released official counts from Tuesday's general election. Turnout reached 9,134 of 12,517 registered voters. Ford led presidential votes with 4,459. Pursley won Congressional balloting with 4,472. multiple state and county races showed totals across Bonner and Boundary counties with no change to standings from omissions.

K and K Board to Hold Special Meeting on November 9

Don Mitchell, chairman of the K and K Committee, says K and K Week may come a few weeks after opening day of fishing season next year. The K and K Board of Directors schedules a 7:30 pm special meeting November 9 in the Pastime Panhandle Room to seek member comments on the proposal. All members and prospective members are encouraged to attend. several other changes are proposed.

Accident suit seeks over 300000 in damages against Idaho state and two locals

Pamela K. Masters, injured in a July car motorcycle crash four miles east of Priest River on Highway 2, sues the State of Idaho, Idaho State Patrolman Michael Brink, and Roger Griesner. The complaint alleges Brink crossed the centerline causing the collision and seeks medical costs of 3876.64, general damages of 200000, and punitive damages of 100000 for permanent knee and leg injuries.

Old Time Concert Scheduled in Sandpoint

Old-Time music fans in Sandpoint are invited to a community hall concert on Saturday November 5 featuring Mad Jack and The Black Sable Boys from Minneapolis. Senior Citizens Open New Sandpoint Center With First Lunch

Bonner County Senior Citizens held their first noon meal at the new center at 425 Forest in Sandpoint with 60 seniors served. The center, built from donations, will be officially dedicated November 6 with Idaho Office on Aging director John McCullen and Sandpoint officials in attendance.
