Idaho Aeronautics Commission Allocates Airport Grants
The Idaho State Aeronautics Commission approved funds for several airports under a Federal program. Pocatello received 100000 to lengthen a runway. Boise, Lewiston, and Lewis County airports got 10000 each for taxiways fences and lighting. Idaho Falls 10000 for an instrument landing system. Nampa 10000 to lengthen a runway. St Anthony 5000 for upgrades. Pocatello requested 157000. officials hope the remainder arrives next spring. The panel also discussed a statewide airport systems plan.
