Junior High Spring Concert Set at Sandpoint
Sandpoint junior high presents its spring concert Monday May 25 at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium. Dale Lange directs the bands and Dana Meehan leads the choir with Barbara Greenleaf and Debbie Hiatt on piano. The program includes Scarborough Fair, The Exodus Song, Do You Know the Way to San Jose, The Peanut Vendor, King of the Road, and Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet.

Racing begins at the Coeur d Alene Turf Club track for a 27 day season with about 400 horses in the area. Les Brown notes strong attendance from Spokane and says the North Idaho track is the largest of Idaho’s eleven tracks. Post times 4 00 Saturdays and holidays, 1 30 Sundays. Ten races per day with daily double and Quinella.

Saddle Club Parade at Blossom Festival in Creston BC
Saddle Club with twelve riders and about 40 members traveled from Sand Point to Creston British Columbia for the Blossom Festival Parade.
