Idaho Implements Closed Fire Season and Burning Permits

Idaho Raises Small Claims Limit to 500 Dollars

The Legislature and Governor increase Idaho small claims jurisdiction from 300 to 500 dollars effective July 1 1976. Administrative Director Carlo Bianchi says courts will handle the expected rise with existing staff and that recoveries remain capped at the new 500 dollar limit after July 1.
