Clark Fork High to hold Baccalaureate and Commencement

FFA To Start Safety Plan In Sandpoint

The Sandpoint FFA chapter launches a Farm Safety Program for the first week of June through the summer. Safety stickers and reminders will be sold at Dockins Tractor Company and Co op Gas and Supply. The Safety Committee will inspect tractors and equipment on local farms to issue safety certificates.

Sandpoint Senior High School schedules Baccalaureate on May 31 at 8 p.m. and Commencement June 1 at 8 p.m. Class Day is May 22 at 1 p.m. Valedictorian Theodore A. Hadley and Salutatorian Christine Cogswell head the graduating class, with Hadley active as Honor Society president, National Merit finalist, and choir and band participant, and Cogswell serving as Honor Society member and FTA president.

Brockway Given Added Duties

Bonner County Commissioner Jim Brockway was elected president of the Interstate Association of Public Land Counties at the 30th Annual Meeting in Lakeview Oregon on May 15. The body includes counties with public land across thirteen western states. Formed in 1940, its aim is to shift as much public land as possible to taxable status for county revenue.

Realtors Plan Coeur d Alene Seminar

John H. King president of the Coeur d Alene Board of Realtors says the Idaho Association of Realtors will host a one day educational seminar May 22 in Coeur d Alene at the Desert Hotel. Talent Show Date Changed at Southside School

Principal Jim Stoicheff announces the talent show originally set for Friday at Southside School is postponed to Tuesday June 2, keeping the same location and time. Delays completing gym repairs caused the postponement.
