Civic Club Sets 1970 72 History Project And Museum Reactivation
Fifty members and guests attended the Sandpoint Civic Club annual luncheon in the Community Hall on May 4. Miss Mable Turner discussed Some Faces of Japan while Goldie Brewer donated Desert Spring, won by Hilarie Earl. The club voted to join the Idaho Beautification Council and to pursue a two year project to preserve local Idaho history and reactivate the local museum. A moment of silence honored Mildred Baker. Officers and advisory board were installed for 1970 71 and 1970 72. Civic notes urged safe driving near schools as warmer weather brings more outdoor activity.
