Bonner County residents report a week of traffic incidents. A pedestrian near Third and Pine Streets was struck as a vehicle failed to yield. Sandpoint sheriffs deputies said unknown suspects burglarized the Elks Golf Club during Wednesday night. A spokesman cited theft of two six packs of beer nine or ten fifths of whiskey and cigarettes. No golf equipment was stolen.

Richard G. Ahlers told the Bonner County Sheriff's Office on Thursday that his green and white 1973 Chevrolet pickup was taken from his home earlier in the day. Deputies are investigating the theft.
