Unemployment Benefits Hit Idaho As Market Sees Rise

The Labor Department reports Idaho paid 18.53 million in unemployment benefits in 1974 part of nearly 334.1 million for the Pacific Northwest. Average Idaho weekly benefit was 62 dollars with 15 thousand new claims for special unemployment aid in four Northwestern states. As of March 1 Idaho had 2,952 total special claims.
