Bonner County Seeks Bids To Dredge Sand Creek Mouth
Bonner County Commissioners call for sealed bids to dredge the Sand Creek mouth where it enters Lake Pend Oreille. Work includes excavating to 2048 feet in a 62 by 800 foot area, with dragline use and sediment disposal in deep water. Estimated $9,000 funding from state federal local waterways monies. Bids open April 11 at 11 a.m. Plans available at the county engineer’s office.
