Miss Sandpoint Pageant to Be Emceed by Ron Bair
Ron Bair, KXLY news director and Inland Empire figure, will emcee the Miss Sandpoint 1971 pageant at Sandpoint High School auditorium on April 10. He will introduce 13 local contestants and brings decades of TV experience from NBC CBS and Bob Hope Enterprises. He also heads Ron Bair Enterprises planning a Morocco film project this summer with travel along the Mediterranean and Spain.

Torch Club Plans Clown Day In Sandpoint
A group of Sandpoint youths called the TORCH Club schedules Clown Day for Saturday March 27 in downtown Sandpoint to raise funds for the Rehabilities School. Clowns will solicit from 10 a.m. to 4 or 5 p.m. with about 20 members, led by publicity chair Kevin Sawyer. Mayor Floyd Gray sponsors the activities. The club also plans dances in Kellogg March 26 and Sandpoint April 3 featuring the Spokane group Feelings.
