Four Hurt in Icy U S 95 Mishap Near Algoma
An early morning crash on U S 95 near the Algoma Service Station left four people endangered but not seriously injured. Carolyn M. Martin 19 of Sandpoint drove a car at 60 to 70 mph when it skidded and rolled, hitting a light pole and a gas pump before ending on its roof at a Bonner General Hospital treated scene. Passengers David Martin 21 Debby Buck 12 and infant James R. Martin were all taken for emergency care. Deputy Sheriff Bill Rice reported the vehicle totaled.

Sandpoint Man Arrested on Narcotics Charge
A 22 year old Sandpoint man Edward Jay Nebendahl was arrested Friday night on Third Street by Officer Dale Munson for possession of narcotics Marijuana. He was held on 2500 bond and is in Bonner County Jail. Magistrate Justice Margaret Burns set the bond.
