Sandpointers Tour Hawaiian Islands
Mrs Dorothy Gooby and Barbara Czarapeta completed a two week Hawaiian Islands tour visiting four islands. They flew Seattle to Honolulu on a 747, stayed five days in Waikiki, rode the Pearl Harbor Cruise, and enjoyed night club touring where Barbara was kissed by Don Ho. They toured Kauai Maui Hawaii and Maui with various excursions including a crater visit, catamaran cruise, and luau.

Top Of Crop Show Slated For Spokane
Spokane hosts the 58th Inland Empire Shorthorn and Polled Shorthorn Association Top Of The Crop Show and Sale at Union Stockyards March 10 11 1972. Consignments include 33 bulls 35 females from Pacific Northwest breeders with judge Wendel Lovely of Montana. Events begin 10 a.m. Friday and 2 p.m. 4 H FFA riding contest. sale at 12 30 p.m. Saturday.

Saddle Club Plans Halter and Performance Shows
The Sandpoint Saddle Club met March 6 in the Washington Water Power building with 18 members and 1 guest. Final plans were made for the June halter show and July performance show, trophies and ribbons ordered, programs arriving soon, plus a trail ride set for April 23 at Farragut State Park.

Sandpoint Winners Tour Florida Visit Highlights
Mr and Mrs Jack Murray and Mrs Walter Erickson return from the Sun Break tour in Tampa with Farmers Union Central Exchange. The group visited Busch Gardens Disney World and Cape Canaveral while touring Bartow phosphate works run by CF Industries. They also stopped in Melbourne to see Terry Erickson, toured Cape Kennedy and Key West Sea Aquarium, and stopped in Chicago to visit the Morrisons.
