Candle Making The Theme Of Club Meeting

A large turnout attended the Welcome Wagon Newcomers Club meeting at the Pastime Banquet Room on March 1. The program featured candle history by Mrs. Walt Erickson and candle making ideas by Mrs. Jack Murray, with seven door prizes awarded. April 5 will feature Ray Davis on Spring Planting in North Idaho and a plant exchange. Local gardeners welcome newcomers for gardening tips.

Bouse Tonn Couple Wed In Sandpoint Church Ceremony

Jonathan Rose Bouse and Darrell R. Tonn exchanged vows January 8 at the First Lutheran Church in Sandpoint. The double ring ceremony featured red and white gladioli and white pompon mums with a reception in the social hall. The couple, residents of Moscow, plan to reside there after a Sun Valley honeymoon. she attends the University of Idaho and majors in forestry while he works in Moscow.

Seaman Bartlett Completes Boot Camp in San Diego

Navy Seaman Apprentice Neal W. Bartlett son of Mr and Mrs Percy W Bartlett of Sandpoint Idaho completed recruit training at the Naval Training Center in San Diego He is a former Sandpoint High School student and will report to Personnelman School in San Diego for further training.
