Storm Damage To Booms Won't Free Driftwood
Ken Coffman, project engineer for the corps of engineers at Albeni Falls Dam, said wind damage to booms on the Clark Fork River likely won’t allow driftwood into the lake. He noted no major damage besides possible minor impacts, with the lake at 2065.29 feet at midnight and 8 am, down two tenths from Tuesday. Flow from upstream is decreasing and without rain the lake should fall faster over the weekend.
