Police relay team aims Montreal in 3700 mile cross country run
Frank Mullens of Encino and coach Pan Conneley lead 14 Los Angeles police runners in a 3700 mile relay from Sandpoint toward Montreal for the Bicentennial, relying on sponsorship funds and strict training. The team has set prior world distance records and travels with campers, pacing cars, and a unified esprit de corps as they cover the miles.
