Local Elks Lodge runs a Thursday night golf league with members competing across a series of nine hole rounds. Players face a friendly format, scoreboard updates, and weekly prizes as the season progresses.

Idaho legislative auditor says transfers added to the general fund raise the 1972 73 closing balance to 5.2 million, about 2 million higher than Gov. Andrus announced. Improvements include 600000 from the refund fund, 1.1 million from the sales tax fund, and 237000 to the public school income fund.
