Prosecutor Probes NORWester 76 Festival Riot in Idaho
Kootenai County prosecutors launched an inquiry into the NORWESTER 76 festival at Stateline Speedway Idaho. Assistant prosecutor Earl Winans leads the probe into causes of the June 5 riot looting and damage estimated at 250000 dollars. No arrests reported yet as photos and witnesses are sought.
Track Car Vandalized Near Spokane Bridge Incident
A special agent for Spokane International Railroad told Bonner County authorities that a 700 pound track car was pushed off the east end of the Spokane International bridge west of Dover into the river. An air compressor nearby was toppled in the same act.
