German Brown Fingerlings Planted In Priest River Tribs
The Priest River Wildlife Federation backed by Marylyn Cork reports 22 000 German brown trout fingerlings planted in Priest River tributaries. Bill Carter of Idaho Fish and Game delivered fingerlings in three tank loads to Binardh Creek and East River with Red Riemann and Wes Weseman assisting. The effort aims to reestablish a once famous fishery by next year as fingerlings grow and spawn, contingent on suitable temperature and conditions.
