Dispute Ends In Tragedy In Marsing Shooting Fatality

Western Antique Collector Dies in Idaho

Thomas George Bond, 94, a renowned Blackfoot antique collector and writer, died Sunday after a long illness at Carson Rest Home in Rigby. Born April 30, 1877 in Henefer Utah, he moved with his family to Blackfoot in 1894 and left a priceless Western antiques collection to the Tom Bond Bingham Memorial Museum. He published Pioneer Voices at 78 based on decades of diary entries and wrote many Western history pieces. Funeral services are Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at Howard Packham Funeral Home with burial at Grace City Cemetery.
