Fire Damages Local Home In Sandpoint
Sandpoint Fire Dept responded to an early morning blaze that gutted a residence with no injuries. Dennis Shea was the sole occupant. 16 firefighters fought the fire for about 90 minutes before control was established. Fire Chief Wade Brown cited a front bedroom as the origin but cause remains undetermined.

Churches Granted Use of Schools in Hope and Clark Fork
Bonner County School Board granted two church groups temporary use of school facilities in Hope and Clark Fork.
