Bonner County FHA Loans Reach 1969 Total Over One Million

Bonner County farm and rural families borrowed 1,237,000 dollars from the USDA Farmers Home Administration in 1969, with 158 additional loans from prior years. Opening elk and deer seasons set in four dates

Fish and Game lists opening dates for general elk and deer hunting this year as September 19 October 3 October 17 and November 7. Each date is one day earlier than last year and whitetail season begins in the panhandle. More deer units start hunting on October 3 than on the comparable day last year.

Cattlemen Meet Friday Night in Sandpoint

The Bonner County Cattlemen announce their annual meeting at the Elks Club in Sandpoint Friday at 7 09 p m. A buffet dinner costs 295 per person with Cowbelles and Cattlemen’s Association members charged 150. Outside guests pay the full price. After dinner, slides cover the Trail Ride and the Canadian tour.
