School Board Sets Special Meeting Date
The Sandpoint School District 82 Board met with most Trustees present except Chairman Munson. A correction to February minutes was approved. Special meetings were set for February 18 at Sandpoint Junior High for building plans and February 19 at Laclede for transportation, later postponed. Highway bypass plans and closure discussed with the superintendent.

Clark Fork teen places in state Voice of Democracy
Miss Anna V. Peterson of Clark Fork won fourth place in the state Voice of Democracy contest. She traveled to Boise with her mother and received a desk set of flags and a cardigan sweater with the contest emblem. Governor Don Samuelson spoke at the luncheon and awarded prizes.
