A proposed 3 684 000 dollar city budget will be reviewed by the Sandpoint city council Monday night with a public hearing to seek consensus on proposed allocations. The budget includes over 2 5 million in uncommitted funds from federal grants not yet finalized.

Auto Mishap at 1st and Main Causes Vehicle Damage

Two cars collided at the intersection of 1st and Main on Thursday at 3 10 p m. Leslie G Scott 21 Sand Point swerved to avoid a parked vehicle and crossed the center of Ast Ave striking Craig A Bloom 19 Sandpoint. Bloom’s car sustained 350 in damage while Scott’s vehicle had no damage.

Senators Balk On PAC Confirmation In Idaho Senate

The Idaho Senate refused to confirm Mathew Mullaney of Boise to the Public Utilities Commission. The vote was 14-21 against confirmation after the State Affairs Committee recommended non confirmation. Mullaney described as environmentalist and bullheaded during debate.
