Hofmeister suit against Frost Featherston dismissed
A federal court dismissed the 330000 civil rights suit brought by Everett Hofmeister Jr against Thomas Frost and Daniel Featherston, ruling they acted within official duties in prosecuting his murder case. Hofmeister was acquitted last October of first degree murder in his wife’s strangulation. He may amend within 30 days or the case against Frost and Featherston will be fully dismissed.

Idaho House considers gas tax increases and election reform
The House Transportation Committee introduced bills to raise Idaho gasoline tax by one or two cents a gallon and debated a plan to merge presidential and regular primaries on the May presidential primary date.
